Dr Tina Lathouras

Dr Lathouras is a lecturer in the Social Work program at the University of the Sunshine Coast, where she teaches courses in a community development and critical social policy analysis. Following a 30 year career in the fields of disability services, neighbourhood centres and sector development with peak bodies, Dr Lathouras undertook PhD studies - graduating in 2012. Her PhD explored the structural dimensions of community development practice. Currently, she is engaged in participatory action-research projects exploring community development practice that is making micro/macro connections and working towards structural change and citizen-led social movements. |
